The Season of Creation

1 September - 4 October 2023

In establishing the month of September to the 4 October, as the Season of Creation, with its theme Let Justice and Peace Flow Like a River, Pope Francis invites all people of faith, "to join the river of justice and peace, to take up climate and ecological justice, and to speak out with and for communities most impacted by climate injustice and the loss of biodiversity. As the people of God, we must work together on behalf of all Creation, as part of that mighty river of peace and justice."

This year's theme links well to the International Day of Peace - World Peace Day
on the 21 September.
