This DVD kit contains 9 interactive scenes for analysis for upper secondary school students. It is a valuable resource enhancing the teaching and learning outcomes for Personal Development, Health and Physical Education in the area of Relationship Education.

About This DVD

Relating - the choice we make looks at some of the significant relationships and issues that adolescents often struggle with in their daily lives. This DVD is a series of 7 different scenarios that present some of the concerns and conflicts that adolescents have when relating to their parents, their peers or in making decisions for themselves. There are 2 extra scenarios that will show a positive outcome to 2 of the conflict scenes presented on the DVD.

The DVD is supported by a guided discussion and activity booklet providing opportunities to explore and discuss the issues raised through each scenario. Discussion tasks are developed so that students and, perhaps parents, can relate the discussions back to their own experiences.

Relating - the choice we make may be used in conjunction with the appropriate Syllabus for years 9 to 12 PDHPE and Pastoral Care Curriculum units such as:

• An introduction to a unit of work
• Tasks to enrich the learning activities for that unit of work
• For use as part of the assessment process for the unit of work
